UFORCE U10 PRO – First impressions
I’m Gareth, better known as Donkey from Grassmen, and today I’m excited to share my first impressions of our new UFORCE U10 PRO UTV. After running the previous UFORCE 1000, nothing quite prepared me for the leap this machine makes.
A bit about me and Grassmen
At Grassmen we’re all about blending grunt-for-work with a touch of recreational “why not?” whether it’s clearing tracks, working the farm, or just heading out to enjoy the countryside. I’ve been running UTVs, ATVs, and general kit for ages now and I like things that work well but also make life easier. When CFMOTO UK offered us the UFORCE U10 PRO it was a no-brainer, we traded the UFORCE 1000 in and stepped up.
What stands out
Here are the top three things I absolutely love so far on the U10 PRO:
- The three-cylinder engine and the new gearbox. The jump from the old U1000 is real. The power delivery is unbelievably smooth yet fast, you can feel it digging in, not just lugging along. It gives you confidence whether you’re hauling, towing or just tooling around the yard. I’d say it’s the standout upgrade.
- Comfort and finish. Faux leather premium seats (yes, you read that right) and everything just feels more premium. The more refined cabin really makes a difference on longer shifts or when you’re running from site to site. It’s not just for show either; the improvements are practical.
- All the little electrical upgrades. Electric front window, electric tipping in the back bed, it’s the kind of subtle stuff that really adds up. When you’ve come from a model where a lot was manual, these additions make the day just that bit easier. Sometimes it’s the small wins that matter most.
How it compares with the UFORCE 1000
On the U1000 I was used to working hard, but there were compromises. It did the job, no doubt, but I often found myself thinking “if only this bit had…” With the U10 PRO, those “if onlys” are gone: the cabin is more refined, the tech is more intuitive, the performance is sharper. The switch-gear, the comfort levels, and the ergonomics all feel elevated. For someone who uses a side-by-side not just for play but for graft, that’s a big deal.
On the ground impressions
Locked into 4WD, pulling a heavy load, the U10 PRO doesn’t hang about. The new gearbox shifts like butter compared to our old rig. Driving across rough terrain with the family in the back (yes, we do that sometimes), the improved seats and suspension make it far more civilised. And when you tip that bed electrically after a days’ work? You’ll wonder how you ever lived with the manual lever.
Looking ahead
So that’s my early verdict, this is more than just a model update. For us at Grassmen it’s a machine that ticks the “work hard, ride easy, enjoy more” boxes. Over the coming weeks I’m going to put the U10 PRO through everything: farm work, trail runs, load hauling, the lot. I’ll report back with how it holds up under the long-haul.
If you’re looking for a UTV that doesn’t just get you by, but feels like a proper step up, then give this one serious consideration. And if you’re in the UK and want to chat through it, CFMOTO UK and their dealer network are the folks to speak with.
Until next time,
Donkey (Grassmen)
