Mario Román joins the CFMOTO family
Spanish Extreme Enduro rider Mario Román joined the CFMOTO family last month which is very exciting news for the brand. Known for his technical skills and determination, having competed in some of the toughest off-road motorcycle races in the world, Román is set to showcase and help evolve the popular MT motorcycle line-up.
British Extreme Enduro Victories
With a smashing start to the year, Román triumphed in the first two rounds of the 2026 British Extreme Enduro Championship, taking the victory at both Ballbreaker Extreme with a phenomenal time of 02:31:38, 10 minutes and 44 seconds ahead of Dan Peace in second place and Wild Willy’s Extreme with a time of 02:30:08, taking the lead by 9 minutes and 33 seconds.
Román to take on Red Bull Romaniacs – an exciting showcase for the 450MT
Román has confirmed his ultimate goal this year is to compete in Red Bull Romaniacs – renowned as one of the hardest competitions in the Hard Enduro World Championship, set annually in the extremely demanding terrain of Romania. Choosing to compete with the CFMOTO 450MT in an extreme event like this really says a lot about this incredible machine, we look forward to seeing a wider audience witness the showcasing of this bike’s multi-terrain capabilities and versatility in the upcoming event this July.
Who is Mario Román and why have we chosen to collaborate with the Extreme Enduro rider?
Mario Román, born in Spain is a professional Hard Enduro rider known for his exceptional skills and numerous victories in the Extreme Enduro space. Previously a member of the Sherco Factory racing for the past decade, Román has recently parted ways after reaching a point in his career where he needs to explore new opportunities, and has now taken full control over his racing programme by creating his own team MR74.
CFMOTO has collaborated with Román to put together a dedicated, strategic approach to the MT (Multi-Touring) two-wheel collection. The Enduro star is well known for being technically skilled, disciplined, and incredibly passionate about riding which aligns strongly with CFMOTO’s values as a serious, performance-driven manufacturer.
